"Amazing. Add this beautiful restaurant to your plan as it's not to be missed. We ate here on the 15th of December 2025 and had the place to ourselves. Food was delicious and the drinks were very particular. Service with a smile and the portion size was HUGE ! Digested food fine without problems."

"Easily in my top 4 places to eat in Bacalar and the top 1 for tacos!!! Proper authentic food out of a proper authentic Mexican kitchen. I had the shrimp tacos and the steak tacos - utterly lovely. The food is prepared fresh and with care attention and love. Located literally 2-3 minutes off the main square and worth every extra step."

"What a hidden gem! Oaxacan dishes, well cooked, beautifully presented and lovely staff. We enjoyed the enmoladas and Especial, huge portions with lovely flavours. 2 mains and 2 beers 500pesos, would be more expensive 1 nl9ck closer to the Zocalo. You must visit!"

"Excellent food and staff. No music or quiet at the rear, we love quiet places so you can speak and properly taste the food. Highly recommended."

"Had to come try Oaxacan food, and glad we did. This little restaurant owned by a sweet lady from Oaxaca was great. We got to try some good food from that region. The mole was amazing! One of the most flavorful and balanced moles. The chilaquiles were also phenomenal. Highly recommend these 2. There was this one dish that is like a large folded over tortilla, not the nicest since it dries out easy, but the chilaquiles and mole are a must. Great service, friendly owner, was nice to talk to and felt very warm. You can tell she puts her heart into her cooking."

"Fantastic dining experience! The chilaquiles were my favorite but everything tasted delicious! The place is beautiful, kitchen is open and very clean, and the music is great. The lemonade was also so refreshing! Highly recommend getting a pitcher. The owner’s son was very cute and helped so earnestly. He was diligently taking orders and waiting on tables. They were very intuitive and attentive to our table. We were charmed!"
